About

Small edits should feel simple.

FreePDF4 is home to Paperkit: a focused tool for the everyday changes that make a document yours.

What you can do here

Correct a visible line, add a note, place an image, highlight a detail, or put pages in the right order. Open a PDF from your device, make your changes, and download a new copy. There is no account, subscription, or watermark in the editor.

Built around your document

PDF processing happens in your browser. The editor has no document-upload server. Fonts and PDF libraries are served with the site, including fonts for Arabic and Hebrew. The editor interface is available in English and Arabic; these help pages are also available in Hebrew.

What we want you to know

Paperkit replaces text visually. It does not offer OCR, Word conversion, or lossless native text editing. Edited pages become images when exported, and digital signatures are not preserved. We explain these limits in the editor and guides so you can decide whether it suits your file.

An independent tool

FreePDF4 and Paperkit are independent of Adobe and are not affiliated with or endorsed by Adobe. The editor uses open-source PDF.js, pdf-lib, Lucide, and bundled fonts. License notices are accessible through Open-source credits inside the editor.

Help us improve

A clear report helps us understand a problem. Tell us which tool you used, your browser and device, and the PDF language. Please describe the issue without sending private documents. Contact support@freepdf4.com with feedback or questions.
