Your PDFs and images
When you choose a PDF or image, Paperkit reads it in your browser to display, edit, and export it. The application does not upload document contents or filenames to a document server, advertising service, or AI service. Your original file is not overwritten. Fonts, PDF libraries, and sample documents are bundled with the website.
Session memory and downloads
Open documents and edits are held in browser memory and are not saved to an account or cloud workspace. Closing, refreshing, or your browser discarding the tab can lose unsaved edits. Downloaded files are stored wherever your device saves them; they remain under your control. Browser or device features, extensions, and backups operate separately from this application.
Browser storage
The editor stores your chosen interface language in localStorage under paperkit-language. This preference remains until you reset it or clear this site's browser data. It does not contain document contents. You can remove it using the button below; doing so does not delete files you have downloaded.
Website hosting and traffic
The website is hosted using ChatGPT Sites. Loading a page sends ordinary web requests to the hosting infrastructure, which can process technical information such as IP address, requested URL, browser information, and request time for delivery, security, and traffic statistics. Site-level visitor and page-view statistics are separate from local PDF processing. The application does not install Google Analytics or a separate marketing tracker.

Advertising is currently disabled
This version does not load Google AdSense advertising scripts or set advertising cookies through the application. If advertising is introduced, this notice and the relevant privacy controls must be updated before activation. Advertising providers may then use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses, or other identifiers to deliver and measure ads, subject to the choices and requirements that apply. The Google link below explains its partner-site data practices; it does not mean Google ads are currently active here.
Updates and questions
We update this notice when the service or its data practices change. The date above identifies this version. For a question or privacy request, contact support@freepdf4.com and describe the information involved without sending unnecessary sensitive details.
