Reorder, rotate, and remove PDF pages

Put a document in the right order, fix a sideways page, or make a shorter copy using the page sidebar.

Review the page thumbnails

Open a PDF and use the page sidebar to inspect its order. Select a thumbnail to show that page. For example, if a three-page handout starts with the answer sheet, move that page to the end before sharing it.

Move pages into order

Drag a thumbnail to a new position. On a small screen, or when dragging is awkward, use Move page earlier and Move page later. Check the page indicator and thumbnails after the move. Undo can restore the previous order.

Rotate or duplicate a page

Select a page and choose Rotate page clockwise to turn it by 90 degrees. Repeat until it is upright. Duplicate makes a copy of the selected page, including its current edits. The document is limited to 100 pages, so duplication and adding pages stop at that limit.

Delete carefully or add a blank page

Delete page removes the selected page from the working copy. At least one page must remain. Use Undo if the wrong page disappears. Add blank page inserts an empty page after the selected one; it does not import pages from another PDF.

Export and verify the sequence

Download the PDF, open it, and count the pages. Pages that were only reordered or rotated keep their original page content. Pages with visual edits are flattened into images. Digital signatures and document-level features are not preserved, so keep the original.
